Energy Audit Study
Energy audit exercise is a tool to systematically undertake a review of operating practices, identify deviations of operating parameters from design values so as to enable identification of energy saving measures. Our studies involve identifying end-users that consume significant amounts of energy, estimate performance & efficiency in each of these end users and devise methods for improving efficiency and thus curbing losses and wasting energy. Our studies are very specific and we provide detailed description of measures to be taken, detailed specifications of products or retrofits, along with list of appropriate vendors. This would help foster quick decision-making.
EES team members specialise in energy conservation related to conventional fuels such as Coal, Oil & Gas since these are fast depleting and hence the focus to use them judiciously and maximise the energy availability.
We have inhouse portable non-invasive instruments alongwith skilled & experienced staff for conducting field measurements at site. The energy audit report is prepared on the basis of these measurements and includes saving potential, investment required and payback period for investments required. Due emphasis is also given to “No Cost” measures which can be implemented immediately with no or negligible costs or with minor changes in the operation practices.
Our energy audit:
- Establishes a energy consumption baseline using monthly energy usage
- Evaluates the energy consumption of various equipment’s/machines
- Power and fuel assessment study
- Identifies ways to enhance operational efficiency and decrease maintenance costs
- Compressed air system study
- Identifies economically feasible ECMs
- Resolves occupant comfort issues.
The output of energy audit is a technical report containing
- Identify opportunities and create solutions to reduce energy use and hence energy cost.
- Detailed view of the current energy consumption pattern
- Performance evaluation, heat balance and identification of losses.
- Financial analysis of each solution (Payback period or ROI)
